"Your face, O Lord, do I seek"

"Your face, O Lord, do I seek"
(Ps 27 [26]:8)

"True Face of Jesus" with ecclesiastical approval

Brief Story Behind The Image:

This extaordinary image was reported to have mysteriously appeared in a roll of film belonging to a nun who had been visiting the holy places of Europe. She never remembered seeing or photographing this image anywhere and did not know how it got there.  Miraculous?  No one knows.  One thing only is certain - the draw of those amazing eyes!

'Behold, O God, our Protector,
and look upon the Face of Thy Christ!'

"I Believe that God has great plans of showing mercy to souls by revealing to us the power of His adorable Countenance.  In this priceless gift we possess an infallible means of appeasing the anger of the Eternal Father, irritated by blasphemers, because whenever we beg Him to cast a look upon the Face of His Divine Son, the rod falls from His hands."

~ Sr. Mary of St. Peter

The Noble Stamp of the Divinity

' I salute You, I adore You and I love You,
adorable Face of my beloved Jesus,
as the noble stamp of the Divinity!
Completely surrendering my soul to You,
I most humbly beg You to stamp this seal upon us all,
so that the image of God may once more
be reproduced by its imprint in our souls.
Amen'

On  November 5,1845, Our Lord revealed to Sr. Mary of St. Peter, that the image of His Holy Face is like a stamp that imprints the Image of God upon our souls.

 Revelations to the Saints Regarding
The Holy Face of Jesus

"Offer My Face to My Father ~ it is the only means whereby to appease Him  ~ appease divine justice.  If you only knew how powerful is its virtue ~ and the reason is that I have taken upon My own Head all the sins of humanity in order that my members may be spared."
(Our Lord to Sr. Mary Peter)

"Let the soul who is desirous of advancing in perfection hasten to My Sacred Heart ~ but he who yearns to make even greater progress and to mount still higher on the wings of desire, must rise with the swiftness of an eagle and hover about my Sacred Face, supported like a seraph, on the wings of overpowering love."
(Our Lord to St. Gertrude the Great)

"They shall receive in themselves, by the impression of My Humanity,  a bright irradiation of My Divinity, and shall be so illuminated by it in their inmost souls that, by their likeness to My Face, they shall shine in eternal life with a brightness surpassing that of many others."
(Promise of Our Lord to St. Gertrude)

"Those who embrace this work of reparation with true piety will not be lost, for I Myself will defend them before My Father and I will give them the Kingdom of Heaven. I will grant them the grace of final perseverance."
                                                                                                                         (Promise to St. Mechtilde)

The Negative Image taken from the Shroud of Turin

"By offering My Face to My Eternal Father
nothing will be refused,

and the conversion of many sinners will be obtained."

(Our Lord to Sr. Mary of St. Peter)
